What is MIG
MIG is a full-time, Non-Profit
TN association offering its
members exciting educational
and networking opportunities
and an array of money-saving
This month at MIG we are privileged to have a superb Memphis speaker, Richard Spore, who will be sharing "Business Entities". Richard is going to get 2015 started for all of us by teaching us:
What is an LLC?
What is a corporation?
Why would I need one?
Can I really protect assets?
Richard literally wrote the book on Business Organizations in Tennessee: Guidance and Legal Forms for Startups. We are privileged to have Richard share with us his knowledge on business entities. He did a Super Saturday session for MIG last year that was a sellout. We actually had to turn members away. If you were unable to attend last year don't miss this session. You will receive valuable information from a true expert. You will receive hundreds of dollars of advice for just attending. The topics discussed will include entities (LLCs, series LLCs, corporations, partnerships, and limited partnerships), their formation, asset protection and strategies, tax ramifications, syndication, etc. Additionally other matters to be discussed will include "business divorces" and why an LLC needs a written operating agreement.
Please join us to get your business entity started right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our early bird focus groups begin promptly at 6:00 and this month will be ‘Getting Started’' hosted by Curt Davis.
The second session will be "General Sessions Court 101" collections and removing non-paying tenants hosted by Gold Sponsor, David Mendelson.
Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 6:00 PM,
$25.00 charge for the meeting for non-members. This can be applied to you first years dues should you join the night of the meeting if you are a first time visitor.
